Principle and characteristics of BIOCLEAR-Jet Hybrid Aerator

The BIOCLEAR Jet Mixing Aerator consists of a coupling distributor and an ejector, in which the coupling distributor is composed of a mixture inlet tube, a mixture distribution chamber, an air suction pipe, an air distribution chamber, etc., as shown in Figure 1.

The jet adopts the venturi jet principle, and the specific structure is shown in Figure 2, which is composed of a dynamic fluid inlet, a diversion ring, a power nozzle, an air suction inlet, a mixing cavity, a diffusion cavity, and a mixed liquid outlet. When running, the circulating pump sucks the mixed liquid in the aeration tank, after the mixed liquid is pressurized by the impeller, the mixed liquid enters the pipe and pumps into the mixed liquid distribution chamber, and the mixed liquid distributed by the distribution chamber enters each jet through the mixed liquid inlet of each jet, and the mixed liquid carries a certain kinetic energy and is injected into the aeration tank obliquely downward by each jet.

BIOCLEAR Jet Hybrid Aerators are customized for customers in a variety of forms. As shown in Figure 4, a variety of materials are available: PP, stainless steel (304, 316, 316L) and others.

After the dynamic fluid flows through the guide ring of the jet, it enters the power nozzle to produce a jet, and the negative pressure is generated near the air suction inlet due to the induction effect of the jet, and the gas is sucked into the ejector through the suction inlet. The inhaled air is fully expanded in the negative pressure area near the suction inlet, and at the same time, it is beaten into tiny bubbles (up to μm level) by the high-speed dynamic fluid, and the bubbles enter the mixing chamber under the carrying of the dynamic fluid, and the gas cement is fully mixed in the mixing chamber, so that the bubbles and the dynamic fluid have the same flow rate; The mixed gas-liquid-solid mixture enters the diffusion chamber through the mixing chamber, in which the kinetic energy is gradually converted into pressure (potential) energy, and the gas, water and mud are further mixed, so that the gas continues to be sheared, crushed and emulsified, so as to ensure that most of the oxygen is fully dissolved in the mixed liquid and has sufficient pressure (potential) energy. The air-wave solid mixture with sufficient energy and full mixing carries the tiny bubbles that are evenly mixed, and is sprayed downward from the diffusion chamber nozzle along the axial direction of the jet into the sewage pool, diffuses, and slowly rises from the bottom of the pool to the water surface, so that the oxygen in the air is fully dissolved and absorbed, and the oxygen transfer efficiency and oxygenation capacity are improved. The bubbles are fully mixed with the table, there is no dead angle, and the whole tank is in a completely turbulent state, which greatly improves the efficiency of oxygen transfer and ensures that the sludge plays a better role.

BIOCLEAR Jet Mixing Aerator can produce high negative pressure and strong turbulence, stirring and shear in the jet through the novel design of the jet arm guide ring and air distribution cavity spoiler, so as to promote the high-frequency oscillation of the liquid film and the air film. The diameter of the bubble is greatly reduced, the number of bubbles is increased, the specific surface area of the bubble is increased, and the gas-liquid film is also thinned, the mass transfer force is greatly reduced, and the oxygen molecules are better transferred from the gas phase to the liquid phase. In the process of high-speed advancement, the jet rotates at high speed in the mixing chamber and the diffusion chamber, which has a high angular velocity, which makes the jet have strong penetrating power, makes the tiny bubbles travel far in the water, and enhances the ability of stirring, pushing and oxygenation.
